I have no personal experience with de-sulphators. I have heard from =
those that swear by them and those that swear at them. Basically, you =
get better life if you "equalize" your battery periodically, and that =
means overcharging them at low current to a relatively high voltage to =
break down the sulphates. To do that you need a charger that has an =
equalization setting, which is available, but not standard equipment on =
C350. The micro-bursts may also work - I do not know.

Peter, Since you're a battery guy, do you know anything about =
de-sulphators? Apparently they send a micro-pulse of energy at high =
frequency. My father -in-law is a retired electrical engineer. He says =
the science behind this is real (check out =
http://members.shaw.ca/pferlow/desulfator.htm). I bought a device an =
installed it earlier this summer (http://www.pulsegenetech.co.jp/en/). =
It draws 40 Milli-amps. Difficult to tell if it's effective, but it's =
supposed to prevent and reverse the forming of sulphate crystals. Thus, =
prolonging battery life. Do you have any experience with these devices.
