I had a lengthy conversation with Raymarine about this.

It's a little complicated but first your C-80 needs to be V3.18 or higher. 
If it isn't, it needs to be sent back to them for an upgrade to V4.26. This 
would cost $20 plus shipping.
Then there are decisions to be made regarding a Digital Sounder Box (a DSM 
30 versus a DSM 300 depending upon the depth of the water in which you 
intend to use it) This would cost about $550.
Then you would have to decide on whether you want an in-hull transducer 
versus a thruhull transducer or one that is transom mounted. The price range 
on these is from $275 to $410.
If you selected a thru-hull, you would also have the expense of hauling and 
installation.
All in all, it looks like the total cost would be somewhere in excess of 
$1,000
