Thank you all for the suggestions. =20
I went through the exercise this morning. =20
1.. I removed the 3 bolts that are attached to the Plexiglas/foam =
plate. =20
2.. Next was the Plexiglas plate which attached to the floor with 5 =
screws. After removing the screws, the Plexiglas plate comes off like =
cheese, smells like it too. =20
3.. I re-sat the seat and with a marker doted the screw holes that =
needed to be drilled. I was contemplating using the existing holes that =
held the screws holding the Plexiglas down, however the seat just didn't =
look right. =20
4.. Lifted the seat again
5.. Drilled the 3 holes. The seat has 4 possible screw down areas, =
however only 3 were used as the 4th is underneath the housing that holds =
the joker valve.
6.. I once again placed the seat on the floor and proceeded to screw =
it back into place. Great, solid, unmoveable seat, great for reading a =
magazine.

PS. Because I was alone, I held the seat a foot off the Plexiglas. I =
tied a line around the bottom portion of the seat and raised it using =
the shroud support which is located just above the compartment that =
holds the waste tank. A couple of bow line knots and the seat held =
perfect while I completed the task. Didn't even need to remove any of =
the hoses.
