Thanks Luis, and also to all the other responses. The need for mast length
was for the transport crew that would truck the boat to its new location.
They needed dimensions on everything they were to carry.

You likely would not need to worry about the actual length of the mast as
the height of bridges are measured from the water line.

A way to measure the mast would be to take your spare line, bring to the
deck as much as you can, mark it with tape and bring it back up till the
tape reaches the top of the mast. Mark the bottom of the line and bring it
back down for measurement. Just make sure there is enough line at the other
end so you don't loose it in the mast.

Subject: Re: [c350ia] mast length?

Hi all - and Happy New Year. Only a few more months of cold and snow.
According to the manual on our boat C350 402, standard rig, wing keel:
the distance from W/L to masthead is 52' 0"
I = 46' 9"
J = 14' 5"
P = 40' 11"
E = 13' 6"

So, from that would the mast length be about 41 feet plus the height of the
boom above the deck ()at the mast) or about 44 feet?

Greetings All, and Happy New Year!

I'm new to this mail list and have a question please.

We are negotiating to buy a used 350, and will have to ship it across a few
states.

Do any of you know the total length of the mast once it's removed from the
boat?

Also, does anyone have a scanned copy of the C350 manual with diagrams that
we could study?

Thanks,
