On my 2003 C-350, on the starboard side, there is a jam cleat for the genoa furling line, then a clam cleat for the starboard-side traveler line, then three clutches for the boom vang, main sheet, and the main halyard. I have a full-battened main, so I don't know how they would run your furling main back to the cockpit. On the port side, from outside to inside, is a clam cleat for the port-side traveler line, then four clutches for the spinnaker halyard, genoa halyard, boom lift, and reefing line.

I have not replaced my sails, but left two messages, on December 20 and December 27, with the parts department in California requesting the cost of new sails. They were off for part of the holidays but they promise to call you back if you leave a message and they've been back since January 2. Going to send a letter to Frank Butler. Number is 818-884-7700; ask for the parts department.

Regarding your P.S., Catalina picked up the tab for the added insulation to the refrigerator/freezer. I'm not sure it helped much. We added our own around the lids.

What is the hull number of the boat you bought?

From: "Don Jones" <djones@modbroadcast.com>

We are concluding the deal to purchase a used ’03 C350 today. The manual is missing, and I’ve downloaded the one from the C350 web site.

Aside from the basic routing of the mainsheet and vang, there appears to be no running rigging layouts in that manual. The boat will be coming to me on a truck, so I’ll have to re-rig everything. It has the furling main.

Does anyone have a layout diagram showing what control line goes to which cabin-top sheet stopper, etc.

I’m going to download the furler data hopefully from Schaefer and Charleston Spar.

Also, has anyone completely replaced the sails on their 350? If you could share the cost and your satisfaction with them it would be great. (this boat comes with no sails)

Thanks,
Don Jones, Oak Island, NC

PS one last thing, did Catalina charge you for the upgraded refrigerator lid insulation?
