Peter is correct, this is how my 04 model is laid out too. I made one=20
change, I ran the roller furling line through the swivel (cam) cleat that=20
the traveler line usually runs through, and moved the traveler line to the =

small cleat. In other words, I reversed these two line positions. I did=20
this so that i could reef the jib under load. I may someday get to the=20
task of replacing the small cleat with a cam cleat or stopper. My advise=20
is that you do this if you think you might ever want to reef the jib.=20

We are concluding the deal to purchase a used ?03 C350 today. The manual=20
is missing, and I?ve downloaded the one from the C350 web site.
=20
Aside from the basic routing of the mainsheet and vang, there appears to=20
be no running rigging layouts in that manual. The boat will be coming to=20
me on a truck, so I?ll have to re-rig everything. It has the furling=20
main.
=20
Does anyone have a layout diagram showing what control line goes to which=20
cabin-top sheet stopper, etc.
=20
I?m going to download the furler data hopefully from Schaefer and=20
Charleston Spar.
=20
Also, has anyone completely replaced the sails on their 350? If you=20
could share the cost and your satisfaction with them it would be great.=20
(this boat comes with no sails)
=20
Thanks,
Don Jones, Oak Island, NC
=20
PS one last thing, did Catalina charge you for the upgraded refrigerator=20
lid insulation?
Don,I have hull # 173with the roller furling main. My line set-up is=20
slightly different than Peter's. There are several options. From STBD:=20
Furling line cleat, Traveler cam cleat, main outhaul-with clutch, main in=20
haul-with clutch, main sheet-with clutch and a jam cleat with safety bail.
Companionway. Boom vang-with clutch, topping lift -with clutch, jib=20
halyard -with clutch, spare jib halyard -with clutch, traveler with cam=20
cleat. I have the main halyard on the stbd side of the mast through a=20
clutch followed by a cleat. hope this helps.=20
Good lick
