I did replace the small cleat for the jib furling line with a Spinlock =20
powercleat (PX0812). The holes lined up perfectly with the screw holes for=20=
the=20
small cleat. I did this two years ago, but as I remember, I was even able=20=
to=20
use the same screws. The powercleat doesn't have a typical lever arm to lo=
ck=20
or release. Instead of a lever it has an outer cam mechanism with a hole f=
or=20
the line. The line feeds through the locking mechanism and then through th=
e=20
outer cam. This makes for a quick release. When you pull up on the line,=20
since it goes through the hole in the cam mechanism, it pulls up on this ou=
ter=20
mechanism and releases the lock. Difficult to describe, but it works very=20
well. I did a websearch and couldn't find a Spinlock site, but did find th=
is=20
link which gives a picture and description. =20

'm very happy with it.

We are concluding the deal to purchase a used =E2=80=9903 C350 today. The=20=
manual is=20
missing, and I=E2=80=99ve downloaded the one from the C350 web site.=20
Aside from the basic routing of the mainsheet and vang, there appears to be=
=20
no running rigging layouts in that manual. The boat will be coming to me o=
n=20
a truck, so I=E2=80=99ll have to re-rig everything. It has the furling mai=
n.=20
Does anyone have a layout diagram showing what control line goes to which=20
cabin-top sheet stopper, etc.=20
I=E2=80=99m going to download the furler data hopefully from Schaefer and C=
harleston=20
Spar. =20
Also, has anyone completely replaced the sails on their 350? If you could=
=20
share the cost and your satisfaction with them it would be great. (this =20
boat comes with no sails)=20
Thanks,=20

clutch, main sheet-with clutch and a jam cleat with safety bail.
Companionway. Boom vang-with clutch, topping lift -with clutch, jib halyard=
