Bob,
Is this a furling main? Or a a traditional main with battens?

Subject: [c350ia] Main Halyard Rope Clutch
Back in May 2006 I replaced the 3/8" halyards with the recommender =
1/2" halyards because of slippage and excessive wear. Now only after 2 =
years I am showing considerable wear on my main halyard. =20
Is anyone else having this problem and did I recently see an e-mail =
discussing this issue and that Garhauer has a fix for this issue?
Even though I use my boat often I don't believe the main halyard =
should wear out this quickly.
Thanks
