At the recommendation of my dealer, I bought a grouper zinc anode.  It's the one that is attached to a 20-foot cable with an alligator clip that attaches to a ground point, and is dropped into the water.  The dealer recommended that I do this until I can get a new shaft anode attached.

I want the zinc to hang in the water as close to the prop as I can get it.  What is the closest ground point to the stern of the boat that I can attach the clip to?  Thanks.
