We have the same coverage as Encore but I discovered to late that we
could have written directly thru Progressive so we paid more thru an
agent for the progressive policy. We also have dinghy coverage for
$278. The total with all of the FL recoup costs $2065.78. I will
sure look into why our costs are so high when we renew because we
haven't had a claim in 12 years and both of us have clean driving
records!!!! Well I just found out something very interesting. I will
be on the phone with Progressive immediatly!!! Thanks to this web
site I would not have caught the fact that we are paying way to much.
I never read the small print!!! Because I filled out the form--on
line they took my credit history--which is none. No loans, no leases,
no credit--and higher insurance premiums. Guess I will have to out
my husband on the policy and get his history. Very interesting.
