My sail loft has suggested I add a backstay adjuster to allow tensioning of
the backstay when going upwind.
I recall someone has done this with blocks on the split backstay and a long
wire which come downs below the bimini, then a boom vang to do the
adjustment under the bimini.
Any details out there including parts and lengths (I have the Catalina
Bimini)?
How well does it work to improve the jib set while going upwind?
Thanks for the ideas!

to all,
USAA steered us toward Progressive as well. I will revisit the Mainsheet
article and call to see if there is a difference. I wonder could our
variouws locations have something to do with whom USAA sends us too?
Interesting comments though.
