Hi Carl,
Yes, we have had our ladder rungs part from the ladder. Fortunately for =
us, one side of the rungs let go at a time, allowing me to remove and =
reattach the rungs with stainless steel rivets and additional 5200 =
before they finally fell off into the great beyond. I think that =
Catalina used aluminum rivets and 5200.

While entering the cockpit via the stern one of the foot rungs fell =

I had not really paid much attention to the rungs before but I will =
now when I replace this one.
Fortunately or unfortunately the foot rung fell off when Make Fauss, =
(Odyssey), and I were visited by our illustrious Technical Editor, Skip! =
He just shook his head.
Mike's boat Hull # 14 has his foot steps screwed on.
