[c350ia] A question of balance

I am cross posting this question for input.

A question of balance between the annual or biennial haul-out and
bottom work v.s. a monthly dive and scrub. Can one avoid the headache
of the haul-out by simply performing a scheduled hull maintenance
session to scrub the growths and lifeforms off before they become so
fixed as to require the big guns used during the haul-out?
Without knowing a schedule, I am thinking that a snorkel, hookah or
full SCUBA dive done once a month ( more or less ) would allow one to
take a 3M pad or a brush and knock the 'green' stuff off pretty
easily, and the barnacles and bivalves that attach themselves to the
hull, should be easier to knock off when small than once they've
grown to adulthood.

Thanks to all for your moment of consideration.
