Greetings all,
=20
I noticed last time I sailed that the wheel had a slight wobble, by inspect=
ion the shaft is OK and it is just the wheel itself that is slightly too lo=
ose on the shaft.=20
=20
Can anyone explain the removal procedure? I am assuming that continuing tur=
ning the locking chrome knob counter clockwise will remove it and then the =
wheel itself is held in position by what?
=20
My home (and therefore garage) are some distance from my boat and my evenin=
g daylight hours limited, so a brief explanation of what tools are needed t=
o lock the wheel or remove and reseat it would be of great assistance (assu=
ming adjustment is possible, if not can I shim this with a suitable soft me=
tal?)
=20
Regards
