Absolutely no question, it is a wine cellar.  Just do not plan on actually
generating a vintage from any wine there as it only holds about 6 bottles
which do not survive the vintage process:-)  We have lined it with wine
bottle inserts from cases in which wine is transported and place the bottles
in those which insulates them against high heeling angles.

Here's probably a dumb question but here goes.

On our new-to-us 350, repairs are going well, and we hope to have her in the
water in a month or two.

Meanwhile, is there a specific purpose for the square storage space in the
center floor of the galley?  There is a cover I can pull up with what looks
to be a shallow plastic pan down there.  Can't help be curious if they had
anything special in mind for that area.
