Jim,
The wheel is held in position by a star shaped nut with two holes about =
=BC=94
in diameter positioned 180 degrees apart. Use the Y shaped brass wrench =
that
comes with the boat to tighten or loosen the nut.

Subject: [c350ia] Wobbly Wheel
=20
Greetings all,
=20
I noticed last time I sailed that the wheel had a slight wobble, by
inspection the shaft is OK and it is just the wheel itself that is =
slightly
too loose on the shaft.=20
=20
Can anyone explain the removal procedure? I am assuming that continuing
turning the locking chrome knob counter clockwise will remove it and =
then
the wheel itself is held in position by what?
=20
My home (and therefore garage) are some distance from my boat and my =
evening
daylight hours limited, so a brief explanation of what tools are needed =
to
lock the wheel or remove and reseat it would be of great assistance
(assuming adjustment is possible, if not can I shim this with a suitable
soft metal?)
=20
Regards
=20
