 Bonnie,

On occasion,my tach swings wildly. This started after 300 hours of operation. Most of the time it seems to operate correctly, but every once in a while, it does this dance. I can't associate the errant performance with any particular event or condition. I suspect that I'll be getting a replacement soon.

Hi Bonnie,?
?

After three years of no problems with the tach, it started to act up like
you describe about two years ago. Eventually after a winter down time, the
next spring it just stopped working altogether. I got a new one from
Westebeke and the installation was fairly straight forward, just make sure
you have a mechanical tach to check the new tach with to make sure you
connect to the proper leads.?
