I use the Bruce anchor that came with the boat. It works well, but I have m=
y eye on the Rocna anchor. A Catalina 36 has one in our harbour and he love=
s it (sand, weeds, mud, gravel). The videos on their website are impressive=
and they include tests of all the other popular anchors too. Have a look a=

I would like some input on what type of anchors you folks use. I know a lo=
t depends on the make up of the bottom. We sail on the Chesapeake, sandy b=
ottom. I am considering a 35 pound CQR. What are your thoughts? Large e=
