Looked at our furler this afternoon (135 Jib...does this make a difference?). Ours goes to within 6" of the swage at the top of the forestay, and the halyard is at a much closer to horizontal angle between the sheave and the furler than the one in this picture. It looks like you'd have to raise yours another 8" to 10" to be up as far as ours appears to be.

> Hello Cat 350 Owners: I have CAT 350 Hull 149 and have noticed poor jibshape since I bought the boat in 2003. Now I think I know why, the Upper Swivelof the roller furler is stopped by the Top Cap so that I cannot fully hoist theJib. It is a near miss but seems more of an issue now that the sail hasstretched a bit. Please take a look at the picture and let me know ifyour furling extrusion goes farther up so that the upper swivel does not'jam' against the Top Cap. In the picture you cannot see the Top Capas the swivel is hiding it, note the 15 inches of bare forestay above the TopCap and extrusion. Do you have that much forestay exposed above the furlerextrusion? I am talking to my dealer and Schaefer aboutoptions. Thanks,Mike Mike Dwyer
